Position Title:

Principal – Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan School (Pre-Primary Section)

Job Summary:

The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative leader of the Pre-Primary Section, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality early childhood education. This role entails setting strategic goals, designing implementation plans, and leading all academic and operational functions to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction aligned with the school’s mission.

  • Develop and implement school goals, policies, and strategic programs.

  • Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and overall student development.

  • Manage and support faculty in curriculum planning and professional development.

  • Promote parental and community engagement through regular communication and collaborative initiatives.

  • Oversee school operations including budgeting, staffing, resource allocation, and compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Create and sustain a positive school culture that values discipline, inclusion, and student well-being.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Master’s degree (preferably in Education), along with a B.Ed. or M.Ed.

  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of teaching experience and two (2) years in an educational leadership or administrative role at a recognized institution.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

    • Strong communication and classroom management abilities

    • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel

    • Proven ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and community members
