Principal – Sultan Mahomed Shah Aga Khan School (Pre-Primary Section)
The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative leader of the Pre-Primary Section, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality early childhood education. This role entails setting strategic goals, designing implementation plans, and leading all academic and operational functions to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Provide visionary leadership and direction aligned with the school’s mission.
Develop and implement school goals, policies, and strategic programs.
Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and overall student development.
Manage and support faculty in curriculum planning and professional development.
Promote parental and community engagement through regular communication and collaborative initiatives.
Oversee school operations including budgeting, staffing, resource allocation, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Create and sustain a positive school culture that values discipline, inclusion, and student well-being.
Education: Master’s degree (preferably in Education), along with a B.Ed. or M.Ed.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of teaching experience and two (2) years in an educational leadership or administrative role at a recognized institution.
Skills:
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong communication and classroom management abilities
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Proven ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and community members
