VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is an independent, quasi-regulatory, and quasi-judicial body that promotes fair competition across all sectors of the economy. In line with its operational needs, the CCP invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following position:

Position: Advocacy and Outreach Specialist

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
Number of Positions: 1

Role Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing advocacy initiatives to raise awareness about competition laws and practices. This role involves active engagement with stakeholders such as industry professionals, chambers of commerce, academic institutions, policymakers, and the general public to encourage transparency and fair competition in the market.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Social Sciences, Media Sciences, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:
- 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR
- 5 years of experience with a Master’s degree in the relevant field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of competition laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

a. Design and implement advocacy strategies to promote awareness of competition policies.
b. Engage and collaborate with government bodies, the private sector, academia, and the public.
c. Create and deliver compelling content across various platforms.
d. Represent the Commission at public events, conferences, and policy dialogues.
e. Monitor national and international developments in competition regimes and advise on relevant advocacy initiatives.
f. Plan and conduct awareness campaigns, seminars, and outreach programs across sectors and regions.
g. Prepare periodic progress and impact reports for internal review and external stakeholders.

General Terms and Conditions:

The appointment is on a contract basis for an initial period of two (2) years, extendable based on performance.
Candidates must meet the required qualification, experience, and age criteria.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. No TA/DA will be provided.
A general age relaxation of 5 years will be granted as per rules.
Government employees must apply through proper channel with a valid NOC from their parent department.
