1. Academic Background
- The student must have completed Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in the Science group.
- Subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry should have been studied at the matric level.
2. Minimum Marks Requirement
- A minimum of 70% marks in Matriculation is generally required for admission in reputed colleges.
- Some top institutions (like cadet colleges and well-known private colleges) may have higher merit criteria due to competition.
