Lahore: Zong has partnered along with LUMS, one of the top leading Universities of Pakistan, for the provision of dedicated internet services and VDI solutions.
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is virtualization technology that hosts a desktop operating system on a centralized server in a data center.
For this purpose, a contract signing ceremony was organized to sign the contract between the management of Zong and LUMS.

It is important to mention here that earlier Zong has set up a mini customer services center at LUMS to facilitate the students as well as faculty members at the university together with setting up a 4G research lab at the University.
Zong is the leading 4G Telecommunication service provider along with more than 2.8 Million 4G subscribers and 4G coverage in more than 300 cities of Pakistan.
Recently, the company has committed to invest over $200 Million in Pakistan to expand the network in the country.
