UHS to Launch Five New PhD Programs in Emerging Healthcare Fields

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced a major expansion of its postgraduate academic offerings by introducing five new doctoral programs aimed at strengthening healthcare education and research in Pakistan. The announcement was made by UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore during the 226th meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB). According to university officials, the upcoming programs will include PhD in NursingPhD in Public HealthPhD in PharmacyPhD in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), and PhD in Oral Biology.

UHS Expands Research Opportunities

Both researchers successfully completed research projects focusing on the determination of time since death through the analysis of vitreous humor, a scientific method widely used in forensic investigations. Their work was reviewed and evaluated by experts before receiving final approval from the board.

Curriculum Updated to Meet Global Standards
