Eligibility for Master’s Admissions
Research Based Master’s Programs:
- Candidates are required to have 30 Credit Hours (24 Credit Hours Course Work and 6 Credit Hours Research Work).
- Candidates are required to have a passing score of > 50% GRE general/ETEA GAT general/University’s internal admission test.
Course Based Master’s Programs:
- 30 Credit Hours course work is must for all applying candidates.
- Candidates must have cleared GRE general/ETEA GAT general or university’s admission test with at least 50% marks.
Eligibility For PhD Degree Programs
Students interested for admission in UET Peshawar PhD Degree Programs must have:
- A Masters/ MPhil or equivalent degree in the related field, with the requirement of minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0 or First Division in case of annual system. The percentage will be valid only if the CGPA is not mentioned on the degree or transcript.
- Candidates who have less than the mentioned CGPA or Division, may be admitted to a PhD program but they have to fulfill the additional requirements mentioned in the HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023.
- GRE General/ ETEA GAT General or University’s internal admission test with the passing score of 60%.
UET Peshawar Admission Test 2024
Admission merit of UET Peshawar will be determined by considering GRE General, ETEA GAT General, or the University's internal admission test marks. The university is set to conduct these tests shortly, and students are advised to initiate the process by applying online for these tests through the university’s website. After the UET Peshawar admission test, students can proceed to apply for master’s and PhD programs. The scheduled UET Peshawar admission test date is 11th February 2024, and it serves as a crucial step in the admission process, contributing to the overall merit evaluation for prospective students.
UET Peshawar Application Process:
- Students can submit their GAT test applications online through the university’s portal.
- First of all students have to download the fee slip and deposit the test registration fee of Rs. 1000/- at any branch of United Bank Limited or in UBL account number: 1486-205505522.
- Then return to the Registration portal and enter the ‘SEQ No.’ written on the paid fee bank receipt. Candidates also have to write their mobile and CNIC number to verify their payment.
- After your payment verification, you’ll be directed to the UET test registration form where you have to upload your passport sized photograph and fill out the admission form.
- After submitting that dully filed application form students will be able to download their GAT test roll number slip from the portal.
- Candidates have to bring their original CNIC Card and printed roll number slip on the test day.
- After the test, the online admission forms for PhD and master’s programs will be available on the portal.
- Students can apply for UET Peshawar postgraduate admission with the same procedure as stated above (the university may require additional documents, transcripts, ID card copy etc.)
- Students who qualify for the PhD GRE General, ETEA GAT General, or the University's internal admission test must submit a research proposal to the directorate of admissions within the deadline.
- No separate emails or notices will be issued to each candidates, students have to keep the track of their admission progress themselves by visiting university website or campus for merit list and test results.
