Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority Introduces Second Phase of E-Learning Courses

Technical education and vocational training authority has introduced the 2nd phase of the e-learning courses. Mian Aslam Iqbal, Provincial Minister of Punjab for industries, commerce, and investment has said that the Punjab government is determined to provide the updated technical education and vocation training facilities to the students according to the modern requirements. The phase of courses was launched under the Chief Minister Hunarmand Najawan Program. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the launching ceremony was held online in which Chairperson TEVTA, Ali Salman Siddique, Chief Operating Officer TEVTA, and other members participated. 

Role of E-Learning Courses

While addressing the online ceremony the minister said that introducing the e-learning courses by TEVTA is a big achievement as the courses are helping the youth to become financially independent. He further added the courses will be taught to approximately 50,000 thousand students so that they can encounter better earning opportunities. According to the TEVTA officials, in the first phase of the e-learning courses, 5400 students were trained and now the authority will provide the training to the 16200 students in the various categories. The courses are offered in different domains such as virtual assistant, technical and graphic design. 

Better Earning Opportunities

The main vision of TEVTA is to provide better job opportunities to the students by training them professionally. In the second phase of the e-learning courses, 130,000 students applied for admission. Previously due to the coronavirus pandemic, the government had closed all the educational institutes and training centers across the country. So due to this reason, TEVTA had introduced e-learning courses so that the students can learn by staying at home. Now after the successful completion of the courses the candidates can earn a handsome amount of money. There is a number of online platforms such as Amazon and eBay through which the candidates can earn online by using their skills.
