Students with 50% MDCAT Entry Test Marks are Eligible to Apply for Admissions in MBBS Courses LUMHS Notification

LUMHS has announced that medical students with NTS Entry test passing percentage of 50% (100/200) can apply for admissions in MBBS courses at private and public universities of Sindh Province. Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences has issued a notification in nationwide newspapers informing all medical students who had conducted MDCAT Entry Tests by NTS on 15^th September.

New Eligibility Criteria for Admissions in MBBS Course at Sindh Universities: LUMHS Notification

Earlier the eligibility criteria for admissions in MBBS courses was 60% (120/200) in MDCAT Entry Tests, and 70% marks in intermediate degree (FSC) issued on 22^nd September 2019. But the new eligibility criteria notified by LUMHS has made amendments and set new merit for admissions in MBBS Course on 50% MDCAT marks and 70% HSSC marks. The new notification was issued on Tuesday, 1^st October. The same policy is not announced to be applicable in other provinces such as Punjab, KPK and Baluchistan yet.  The notification was issued by vice chancellor /chairman provincial admission committee for all public and private medical and dental colleges and universities of Sindh LUMHS.

Admissions in Public and Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Sindh for Session 2019-2020 Have Begun

The medical students who have passed MDCAT Entry Tests with 50% marks and 70% HSSC marks can begin their admission process and apply as soon as possible to confirm their seats in public universities. It must be informed to students the medical universities accept admission on merit based. The fixed number of seats in public medical colleges will be granted to students in order of highest marks preference.  The merit lists for admissions in Sindh universities will be uploaded on our website for related students.
