Sargodha University starts admissions 2013

Sargodha, University of Sargodha, Department of Technical Education has started admissions in BS Civil Technology, BS Electrical Technology and BS Mechanical Technology.  Applicants are invited to get admission in the respective programs. The last date for submission of application form is Nov 12 while entry test will be organized on Nov 18. Classes will be held on Nov 25, 2013.

Candidates are eligible if they have Pre-Engineering degree with minimum 50% marks or DAE in relevant subject.

Prospectus along with admission forms can also be downloaded from the university website www.uos.edu.pk. Applicant must attach a bank draft postal order of Rs 500 with downloaded form or form can also be taken at the respective bank branches of HBL.

The admission forms can be taken from Nov 04 from the university on payment of Rs 500. Dully filled form must reach admission office of the university before deadline otherwise university will not consider the forms and will be rejected. At the time of admission students must submit the original documents of previous results otherwise university will not grant admission.  Forms received after due date will not be entertained.

In 1929 a college was established in Shahpur, and in 1946 the college was shifted in Sargodha and named as Government College Sargodha. In 2002 the college was upgraded into a university. This university was given name “University of Sargodha (UOS)”. Now the University of Sargodha (UOS) has gain great reputation and prestige due to quality of education.
