Lahore, Punjab University, Department of Economics has started admissions in Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Economics (PGDAE) One Year (2 semesters) Evening Program. The last date to apply is Oct 31, 2013.
The PGDAE provides a unique opportunity to study the fascinating subject of economics in a competitive and conductive environment. The Diploma is especially designed for the candidates of CSS, PCS and Banking examinations. Furthermore, the Diploma holders can apply for admission to MSc Economics (Morning), MSc Economics (Replica) and MBEcon programs offered by the Department as nine special seats in each of the above mentioned programs have been reserved for Diploma holders.
All the graduate candidates are eligible if have done BA, BSc, B.Com, MBBS, BSc, Engg, BBA or equivalent. Admission is open to fresh as well as old graduates. There is no age limit. Application forms and prospectus are available from the Department of Economics, University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam campus, Lahore. The last date for submission of application form is Oct 31, 2013 till 4pm. The General Merit List along with First Admission notice will go on the notice board on Nov 05, 2013.
