PMC Issues Detailed Decision Of Medical And Dental Council Regarding MDCAT Test 2021

A group of students, who appeared for the MDCAT 2021 exam under the PMC, met with the president on September 23^rd, 2021 at PMC Islamabad. Students discussed the issues of inconvenience such as poor functioning and technical fault, they faced in the examination hall, with the president and made several demands including re-conduct the exam, additional marks, and physically rechecking the paper, etc. However, after the final meeting, PMC has announced the final decision on Monday. According to this decision, it is decided that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test, MDCAT exams will be continued as per schedule. The result will be issued once ending the exams and, if required, then paper rechecking will be done.

The Final Decision Of Authority On MDCAT

The decision is concluded that the system is working properly, however, to make sure the functioning and performance of the system the council will arrange an audit on the possible technical issues. It was also decided that the results will be made public and if any questions will be found contrary to the rules and regulations of the examination will be removed and students who attempting such removed questions will be provided full marks for the questions.

MDCAT With 02 Years Validity 

According to the added rules of mdcat test 2021, it has been decided that the MDCAT will be valid for two years. Students who appear for the 2020 MDCAT can apply for admission based on that test once its equivalency is approved by the PMC.
