Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences has released an admission notice, in which it is stated that the Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Gambat, District Khairpur MIRS is accepting MBBS admissions from the IEAP local overseas Pakistani students for the academic year 2022 – 2023. Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS admission are open now and interested candidates can apply for admissions till 31st December 2022. PAQSJIMS Gambat institute is one of the finest teaching hospital in Sindh. It has vast history of serving in the medical field. It was established as a dispensary with basic OPD facilities in 1934, later it became the PAQSJIMS Gambat Medical College in 2005.   

Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicants must have domicile of tagged districts as per government notification.

• IEAP self-finance and overseas applicants must have passed the HSSC or inter (pre-medical) or equivalent exams with at least 60% marks. Overseas Pakistani must have cleared their intermediate or equivalent qualification from outside Pakistan.

• IEAP local and overseas applicants both have passed the medical and dental college admission test (MDCAT 2022 – 2023) with at least 55% marks to be eligible for MBBS admission. If any candidate have cleared the MDCAT 2021 – 2022 with at least 65% marks is also eligible for the MBBS admission.

• Overseas candidates must hold a permanent foreign nationality.

• Overseas Pakistani applicants must provide proof that their parents are working outside Pakistan.

Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences Application Process:

• The Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences application form along with the Bank challan form can be downloaded from the website; www.gims.edu.pk.

• Print out the application form and Bank challan form.

• Fill out the application form and attach the attested copies of requested documents (matric and inter marks certificate, MDCAT marks certificate, CNIC, photographs etc.).  

• Pay the Rupees 1,500/- non-refundable application fee at any branch of MCB bank.

• Attach the original bank paid receipt with your application form.

• Pack your completed application form in an envelope and write “MBBS Category (self-finance or overseas Pakistani)” on the top of your envelope.

• Send that packed envelope to the Directorate of admissions, Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, @Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Pir Abdul Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences via any courier service before the deadline; 31st December 2022.

• By hand submission or incomplete applications won’t be entertained.
