Law Graduate Assessment Test, LAW-GAT 2020 Session Is Going To Be Commenced

According to the notification released by the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan the Law Graduate Assessment Test, LAW GAT by Pakistan Bar Council, PBC will be conducted through Higher Education Commission, HEC. The main objective to conduct the test is to evaluate the academic values of the candidates who are willing to apply for the legal profession in the future.

The applicants having the basic or necessary knowledge about the law can only be competent to pass this evaluation test. Only those candidates will be considered for Bar Council enrolment as an advocate who will become prominent in the assessment test conducted by HEC. Who Is Eligible:

Applicants who have passed a Bachelor's degree in law or any other related degree from a recognized university will be considered for this test.

Test Format:

The test will be comprised of Multiple Choice Questions, MCQs

Test Dates:

The test dates will be published by HEC at etc.hec.gov.pk
Applicants who will register through HEC will be able to download their roll number slips from the official site of HEC.
Candidates are required to provide valid email address and contact detail because the test date, venue, and all other information will be sent to them on the provided contact details.
Applicants are required to come along with a print of roll number slip and original CNIC in the exam center.

Registration Process:

The mode of registration is online and applicants have to visit etc.hec.gov.pk for online registration.
Applicants while having any difficulty for registration can send their query to onlinehelp@hec.gov.pk for proper guidance.
Applicants will submit the application by following two steps:
My Profile (applicants would complete the profile first)
Application Submission (by using Law Graduate Assessment Test Link on menu panel)
Only those applications that are completely submitted will be considered. However, save applications and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Applicants are required to submit the GAT registration fee, 3000/- PKR. The fee will be submitted online in the account number: 01127900567403. The account title is: Higher Education Commission, Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 0112.
Applicants will submit an original fee deposit slip through courier at Room No. 13-209, 2nd Floor, HRD Building, HEC, H-8, Islamabad.
Applicants are asked to mention their CNIC at the back of the deposit slip.
The examination fee is non-transferable or non-refundable.
