KMU is accepting MBBS and BDS applications for kpk public medical and dental colleges

Khyber Medical University (KMU) is inviting students to apply for admissions at public medical/dental colleges of KPK. Admissions in government medical/dental colleges of KPK is open for MBBS/BDS Session 2022-2023. KMU is acting as an admitting university of KPK province since past few years and overseeing the admissions of public medical/dental colleges of KPK. Last Date to submit the admission application is 9th December 2022. Following public sector medical and dental colleges are accepting application for MBBS and BDS admissions 2022-2023 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa:

Eligibility Criteria for Admissions:

• Candidate must have passed inter/FSC (pre-medical) or equivalent qualification from any BISE Board of Pakistan or from abroad.

• Candidate must have cleared the Medical and Dental College Admission (MDCAT-2022) with at least 55% Marks for MBBS and 45% marks for BDS. Subject to PMC equivalence, repeating candidates can use their MDCAT 2021 score.

• Candidates must have the Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/ Newly Merged Tribal Districts (NMTD)

Merit Criteria for Admissions:

The merit Criteria to calculate the aggregate percentage is as follows: 

Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ Matric                                 =    10%

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)/ Intermediate       =   40%

MDCAT 2022                                                                                     =   50%

How to Apply for Admission:

• Visit the KMU Admission Website. Make an account to apply online. (Hard copies of application are not acceptable)

• Fill in the details according the screen instructions. 

• Select the category of the seats you want to apply for (open merit, general self-finance, disabled, backward area etc.) 

• Submit the separate admission form for MBBS and BDS open and general finance quota seats.

• Upload clear and readable scanned copies of the requested documents. (Incomplete or forged document are not acceptable)

• Generate the application processing fee challan, print it and submit the non-refundable application fee in any branch of Bank of Khyber, for MBBS and BDS separately. (Applicants have to submit additional application fee, if they are applying for more than one quota seats).

• Upload the scanned copy of paid receipt of the application fee, verify your payment details and submit the application. Keep the original fee slip safe to be later used as an evidence of payment during the admission process.
