LAHORE, Students of the Kinnaird College’s (KC) Political Science Department, in collaboration with the Centre for Civic Education, held a seminar on the “Impact of Terrorism on the Youth” as the city was rocked by the twin bombings in RA Bazaar on Friday.
As the city mourned over the deaths of their loved ones, KC students condemned terrorism by presenting short documentaries and presentations, expressing their point of views on the heinous activity.
The seminar was held at the college’s Haladia Hall, where renowned singer Abrarul Haq was the chief guest. Beside a large number of students, KC Political Science Department head Saira Malik was also present on the occasion.
The KC political science students presented video clips of different suicide attacks across the country and a documentary was also displayed about the sufferings of the families whose dear ones have been martyred in the rising number of suicide attacks. They also presented a short documentary about Sidra, a student of the International Islamic University, who was martyred last year in a suicide attack on campus.
