The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has officially released the much-awaited interview schedule for March 2026 . Candidates who have successfully passed the written examinations for various posts can now check their names, dates, and panel details to prepare for the final selection stage.
According to the official schedule approved by the Chairman of the KPPSC on February 13, 2026, interviews will be conducted throughout March for multiple departments, including Finance, Health, Agriculture, Education, and Population Welfare. The detailed programme outlines the daily and weekly quotas for candidates, ensuring a streamlined process at the commission.
The KPPSC interview is the final and most critical hurdle for candidates aspiring to secure government jobs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The March 2026 session will see a large number of applicants vying for positions ranging from BPS-16 to BPS-19.
Important Note: Candidates must bring their original documents, including their KPPSC interview call letter, CNIC, domicile, and all educational certificates , to the interview center. Failure to produce original documents will result in immediate disqualification.
To succeed, candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in the interview . It is crucial to understand that the interview is a qualifying component; if a candidate fails the viva voce, they will be disqualified automatically, regardless of their performance in the written exam. In cases where two or more candidates have equal merit scores, the candidate with the higher interview score will be preferred.
Based on the official document, the interviews are divided into multiple panels. Here is a breakdown of the major posts and schedules:

To help candidates ease their nerves, here are some frequently asked questions that are likely to come up during the KPPSC interview. Preparing these will give you a significant advantage:
"How will you introduce yourself?" (Focus on academic achievements and relevant skills).
"Why do you consider yourself the most suited person for this post?" (Align your answer with the job description).
"What do you know about the responsibilities of this department?" (Research the specific department, e.g., Agriculture or Finance, beforehand).
"What makes you qualified for this job?" (Highlight your specific degree and any relevant experience).
"Where do you see yourself in five years?" (Show ambition aligned with government service).

Clearing a competitive interview requires more than just subject knowledge. Here is a comprehensive checklist for KPPSC candidates:
Research and Preparation: Go beyond your textbooks. Read general knowledge books, newspapers, and the latest policy updates related to the department you are applying for.
Practice Mock Interviews: Ask a friend or a mentor to conduct a mock interview. This helps reduce anxiety and improves your response time.
Documentation: Gather all necessary paperwork the night before. Keep your original degree, CNIC, domicile, and a set of photocopies in a clean folder.
Grooming and Presentation:
Wear neatly pressed, formal clothes.
Ensure your shoes are polished.
Maintain a neat and clean hairstyle and trimmed nails.
Avoid having noisy items (like loose change or keys) in your pockets.
During the Interview:
Enter with a confident smile and greet the panel politely.
Make frequent eye contact with all members of the panel.
If you don't know the answer to a question, politely admit it rather than guessing. Honesty is often appreciated.
Stay relaxed, and answer questions politely even if they are based on negative information.
