Islamabad: According to the issued press release, ISRA University presented training completion certificates to almost 2 hundred students, belonging to various areas of Rawalpindi, at a certificate distribution ceremony organized on Saturday.

The leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N and the members of Provincial Assembly Punjab, advocate Raja Hanif were the chief guest and the guest of honor at the ceremony. They distributed certificates and shields among the successful candidates.

Pakistan Muslim League-N leaders and Members Provincial Assembly Punjab, Advocate Raja Hanif and Tehseen Fawad were chief guest and guest of honour respectively at the ceremony, who distributed certificates and shields among the successful students.

All these aspirants were provided training under a project of Punjab Skill Development Fund at various campuses of ISRA University, targeting at providing the youth of the country employable training to assist them in earning the respectable livelihood.

The certificates were presented to the candidates for completing various skill programmes including, Sterilization course, in Water Treatment course, Programmable Logic Control, Safety Inspection and Solar programme.

The University furthermore awarded the certificates of excellence and E-training and Web-designing certificates to the aspirants.

While addressing the ceremony MPA, advocate Raja Hanif said that “for last eight to nine years, the government of Punjab has focus on offering skill-based trainings to youth to assist them in living a respectable life,” adding that presently almost 13 institutes were working only in Twin cities of Islamabad-Rawalpindi, offering trainings to the youth.

He lamented that in the past there had not been focus on such trainings which had led to joblessness, expressing the hope that now along with these sorts of trainings, the youth will lead the country towards progress as well as development.

While speaking on the event, MPA Ms Tehseen Fawad said that it was the duty of aspirants to follow ethics and set an example by leading their successors towards better future.

At first, in the welcome note, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Harmony Technologies, Tayyab Hussain Malik said that though programmes for youth skill development were being executed in other provinces, however the programs under  PSDF was at the top among all.
