International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad and Ashrafia Islamic University (AIU) Lahore have signed an MoU for mutual cooperation, comprising of the Arabic courses, whereas IIU will provide the collaboration for revealing such courses.
This development came during a meeting held at Ashrafia Islamic University which was attended by the IIU commission headed by President Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh. Basically, the meeting was a follow up review of the developments about MoU of mutual cooperation which was signed between the two universities.
This meeting was also attended by the chairperson of Jamia Ashrafia Maulana Fazl-ur-Raheem and its Heads of departments, whereas the IIUI delegation or the committee members consisting of Dr. Tahir Hakeem of the Faculty of Shariah and Law, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Bashir of the Faculty of Arabic, Dr Muhammad Munir of the Shariah Academy, Dr. Sohail Hassan of the Dawah Academy, Advisor of IIU Hafiz Azizur Rehman and Nasir Fareed of P&PR department. However, Maulana Fazl-ur-Raheem represented the committee on behalf of Ashrafia Islamic University.
Though, it was decided in the meeting that Aima training courses will be revealed for the aspirants AIU and Dr. Sohail Hassan will oversee the developments on the project.
