ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched an online complaints web portal for students, providing a centralized digital platform for submitting and tracking complaints related to higher education institutions. The initiative aims to improve transparency, accountability, and communication between students, universities, and the commission.
According to HEC, the portal has been developed to ensure that students can raise academic and administrative concerns through an efficient and structured online system.
The Higher Education Commission stated that the online complaints portal enables students to register grievances without visiting HEC offices. Through the web-based platform, applicants can submit complaints regarding academic matters, university administration, examination issues, degree-related concerns, and other higher education services.
The digital system is expected to streamline the complaint-handling process and improve response times.
The newly introduced HEC student complaints portal allows users to create an account, enter complaint details, upload supporting documents, and monitor the status of their cases online. The portal has been designed to provide a user-friendly experience while maintaining transparency throughout the complaint resolution process.
Students have been advised to provide complete and accurate information to facilitate timely review of their applications.
