HEC Announces Chinese Government Scholarships To Pakistani Students for the Academic Year of 2020-2021

Higher Education Commission, HEC announces Chinese Government Scholarships to Pakistani students for the academic year of 2020-2021. The scholarship program is announced for all the Pakistani students who are willing to apply for undergraduate, master, and Ph.D. programs to Chinese universities for the academic year of 2020-2021.

The aim to provide this Chinese Scholarships program is to encourage the willing and deserving candidates to get higher education from the worlds’ top-rated institutes based in China.

Academic Programs Eligible For Scholarships

Applicants of undergraduate, master and Ph.D. degree programs are going to be entertained with the scholarships. Applicants of almost all the major fields or study programs are going to be facilitated with this scholarship program.

Following are the major faculties or study programs eligible for this scholarship program:

1. Science study programs
2. Engineering study programs
3. Agriculture study programs
4. Medicine study programs
5. Economics study programs
6. Legal studies
7. Management study programs
8. Education study programs
9. History study programs
10. Literature or literary study programs
11. Philosophy study programs
12. Fine Arts study programs

Scholarship Awards

Scholarships program is going to facilitate the selected candidates with the following awards:

Tuition Fee: The scholarship program will cover the complete tuition fee, application processing fee, and administration fee.

Accommodation Option: Selected students will also be offered free university accommodation.

Monthly Stipend: Selected students will also be offered monthly stipend according to which the following stipends are arranged:

1. Undergraduate students will get CNY 2,500 per Month
2. Master students will get CNY 3,000 per Month
3. Doctoral students will get CNY 3,500 per Month

Who Is Eligible For This Program

Applicants with the following conditions will be eligible for this scholarship program:

1. To win the scholarship program applicants must be Pakistani citizens or citizens of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
2. For bachelor or undergraduate degree program applicants are required to show 12 years of education and the age limit for an undergraduate degree is 25 years.
3. For master's degree program applicants are required to show undergraduate degree and age limit for master's degree is 35 years.
4. For doctoral or Ph.D. degree program applicants must hold a master level degree in the relevant subject and the age limit for a doctoral degrees is 40 years.

How To Apply For Scholarship

Applicants must keep in mind the following rules while submitting their application forms:

1. Applicants are allowed to apply through HEC online application portal and students can also apply through the online application portal of Chinese universities.
2. Applicants are advised to submit a complete and correct application form.
3. Incorrect or missing application forms will not be considered.
4. Applications after due dates will not be accepted.

Applicants are asked to submit their proposals before January 5^th, 2020.
