Abbottabad: According to the announced secondary school exams result by the officials of BISE Abbottabad board, girls have secured the top three positions.

In the announced results, 49 students shared overall top 20 positions.

During the declaration of result, the controller of examinations of Abbottabad board Prof Jehanzeb Khan said 59,265 students appeared in SSC annual exams out of which 39,530 were declared pass along with the passing result ration of 66.7%.

Science Group

A female student Maleeha Iqbal of Khyber Public School & College Mansehra secured overall first position by obtaining 1,046 marks, second position was jointly shared by Rizwa Rehman of Peace Group of S&C Abbottabad and Mahnoor Fayaz of Modern age Public S&C Abbottabad by securing 1,043 marks.

Fajar Ahmad of Peace Group of S&C secured third position by obtaining 1,037 marks.

All these toppers belonged to the science group.


In science group (male), top three positions were clinched by the aspirants of Abbottabad Public School & College Abbottabad.

Hammad Bin Manzar got first position by securing 1027 marks, Sardar Noman Qayyum got second position by securing 1,025 and Mohammad Aqib Faizan got third position by securing 1,024 marks.

Humanities Group

In humanities group (female), the private student secured the top position.  Aleena Ishaque secured first position by obtaining 912 marks; Hoorain Abbasi secured second position by obtaining 881 marks while third position was jointly shared by Arifa Nazeer and Faiza Zahoor by getting 867 marks each.

In humanities group (male), a private student Kareem Dad Khan secured first position by obtaining 808 marks, 2nd position in the exams was clinched by Shakir of government high school, Ghandian Mansehra by obtaining 807 marks while third position was secured by Bilal Anwar of Government High School Kolika Mansehra by obtaining 803 marks.

Exceptional performance was shown by the public sector schools for the first time in Abbottabad board as 4 aspirants of government schools joined the top 20 club where two aspirants each of Government Girls High School Saraie Saleh Haripur and Government High School No 3 Abbottabad succeeded to make their place in the top list.
