Islamabad, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology has announced the admission schedule of BS and Master level programs. The admissions will start from Nov 05. Interested candidates can submit the forms till Nov 29, 2013.

The admissions will be opened in BS 4-Year program in Fine Arts, Science and Technology, Trade and Economics, Pharmacy , Education and Law while at Master level admissions will began in 2-years  program including Fine Arts, Education, Business Administration, Trade and Economics and Science and Technology. The university is also offering evening admissions at bachelors and master level in above mentioned subjects.

This year the university is also offering admission in Home Management Science, Biotechnology and Sports Science, B.Ed (Hons) and BA LLB 5-year program.

Admission forms and prospectus can be taken from the UBL University road bank branch on payment of Rs 750. Students have to submit fee voucher of RS 700 for programs the NAT test is compulsory.

Meanwhile the university has announced the results of MA part 1 annual exams 2012. A total of 130 students were registered for the exam out of which 121 appeared in the exam and 89 could pass by making pass percentage of 73.55%.

The University started functioning in November 2002 by taking over two federal government colleges, namely Federal Urdu Science College and Federal Urdu Arts College, in Karachi which were established in 1949 by Baba-e-Urdu Dr. Abdul Haq. His mission was to promote Urdu as teaching and also as national language. The principal seat of the University at Islamabad commenced its teaching programs in November 2003.
