FBISE Announces To Use E-Sheets For Specific Subjects in SSC and HSSC Annual Exams

The federal board of intermediate and secondary education has announced to use of the e-sheets for the specific subjects in SSC and HSSC annual exams. It is informed to the candidates that in the matric exams the sheet will be used for the various subjects that include English, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science. In intermediate exams, the board will use the e-sheets for the different subjects such as English, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and computer science. In order to facilitate the students, the board has also provided the sample sheets so that the students can learn about the procedure of filling the on-screen marking sheets. 

Improving Assessment Quality

The FBISE has taken this decision to introduce the e-sheets in the annual SSC and HSSC exams 2021. The e-sheets will be attempted by the candidates and marked by the examiners. One paper will be marked by 8-10 examiners that will check the specific portion. Through the e-sheets, the assessment quality will be improved and a fair grading system can be easily established. Moreover, the professional staff will be hired from all across the country instead of some specific areas for marking the papers so that the tabulation errors can also be minimized.

The federal board of intermediate and secondary education has issued the date sheet for the annual exams of the 10th and 12th classes. The candidates who intend to appear in the exams are notified to check the schedule and prepare for the exams according to it. According to the announced date sheet, the annual exams of 10th and 12th classes will be commenced from 23rd June 2021 and 24th June 2021 respectively. The candidates are instructed to follow the information mentioned on the date sheet during the exams. The board authorities have ensured that there will be the proper implementation of SOPs in all the examination centers.
