ECAT Free Undergraduate Admissions 2023 Are Open At Various UET Campuses Across Punjab

University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore has announced that there admissions 2023 are open for various undergraduate programs. These UET undergraduate admissions 2023 are open in different campuses of UET across Punjab. All the interested candidates can send in their admission application through UET online admission portal. UET also stated that the candidates doesn’t require ECAT test scores to be admitted in the UET undergraduate programs. The university has also extended their admission deadline due to excessive number of applying candidates. The university is also offering reserved seats for non-Muslims and overseas candidates. Following are the undergraduate programs, being offered in different UET campuses:

UET Admission Eligibility Criteria:

• Only candidates having a Domicile of Punjab can apply.
• Candidates must have cleared inter/ FSc/ ICS or equivalent with at least 60% marks from an HEC recognized university/ institute.
• Candidates holding DAE/ diploma certificates can also apply.
• IBCC equivalence certificate is required for overseas candidates/ non Pakistani board candidates.
• Application sent through courier or submitted by hand will not be entertained.

UET Merit Aggregate:

UET announced that the candidates don’t have to take an ECAT test for 2023 undergraduate admission, so they announced the following merit aggregate for the candidates applying for the ECAT-Free undergraduate programs: 

• 75% marks of inter first year (or equivalent)
• 25% marks of matric result (or equivalent)

UET Admission Process:

1. Candidates have to sign up for the UET admission portal account.
2. Setup your admission portal account by providing the requested details.
3. After successfully setting up your admission portal account, start filling out the “UET Undergraduate Admission 2023” application form. 
4. Provide the scanned copies of all required documents.
5. Purchase the token, which includes the prospectus and application processing charges.
6. Candidates can purchase the UET token of Rs. 2000/- by using HBL Online Banking System or HBL Konnect App.
7. If a candidate doesn’t have an HBL account he can pay Rs. 2000/- by using his challan form number as token number.
8. Upload the paid challan receipt or screenshot of your payment to your UET admission portal to successfully submit your admission application.
9. Candidates will receive an email right away, confirming that the UET have received their application.  

UET Admission Deadline:

As we explained above that the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore is accepting application for various undergraduate programs, these admission are open since January 2023. The university has now extended their admission deadline due to excessive number of applicants. The previous admission deadline UET undergraduate programs was 13^th February 2023 and now the deadline is extended till 2^nd May 2023 (till 11:59 PM).
