Brilliant students of University College for Boys awarded cash prizes

Peshawar: Twenty meritorious students of the University College for Boys, University of Peshawar were presented cash awards of rupees 20 thousand each in a ceremony organized at the college conference hall. Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan was the chief guest of the event. He was accompanied by Registrar Dr. Syed Fazl I Hadi and Principal of the College Mr. Nadeem Azam.

These award receiving students have obtained A-1 grades in the board exams and also got admission in the professional colleges of the province.

On prize distribution ceremony Principal of the college presented the report of performance of the institution.

During his address, he said that the college was established in 2010 and in a very short period of time it is considered as one of the best institutes of the province. He moreover said that his team was trying very hard to make it a college equivalent to the level of Islamia and Aitchison College in upcoming years.

Vice Chancellor of University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan called the achievement of the students as a step in the right and perfect direction towards attaining academic excellence and also congratulated the parents and teachers for their exceptional role.

Actually the college education is the doorway to professional and higher education so quality input in these institutes was domineering for overall grooming of the aspirants, he added.

Dr. Jan point out that all the resources at hand will be on the clearance of the College to permit them to become best institution of the country. He further said that regularization of the college faculty was under procedure and would be made in due course of time.
