Overview of BISE Lahore HSSC Part-I Exams 2026

The academic calendar for intermediate part-one students experienced a structured timeline this year. The written papers commenced on June 15 and concluded smoothly on July 8, administered across dual morning and evening shifts to manage the vast student turnout. Following the written assessments, practical examinations for relevant subjects took place from July 27 through August 18.

Jurisdiction-wise, the board oversees educational assessments for multiple regions. Candidates belonging to Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib districts fall under this single umbrella. Consequently, students from all these areas utilize the same unified portal to view their outcomes.

Key Updates: Revised Passing Marks and Grading Policy

A major shift affecting candidates this session involves the grading criteria set by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC). Under the updated guidelines implemented for the First Annual Examination 2026, the minimum passing threshold has increased.

Students must now secure at least 40% marks in every individual subject to pass, moving up from the historical 33% benchmark. Anyone scoring beneath this 40% line receives an 'Ungraded' status for that specific paper, requiring them to look into supplementary options provided by the board.

What to Do After Checking Your Result?

Once your marks appear on the screen, verify your personal details, parent name, and subject scores carefully. Regular candidates can collect their digital result cards through their respective college portals, whereas private candidates can retrieve theirs straight from the dedicated web utility.

Should you spot a discrepancy or wish to verify your paper evaluation, BISE Lahore offers transparent rechecking services. You can apply online through the board's official framework within the stipulated deadline by paying the required fee. Keep your roll number slips and registration documents safe as you take your next steps toward HSSC Part-II!
