
Lahore, September 18, 2025 – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially announced the 12th Class Result 2025 for Intermediate Part I & II (First Annual Examination). According to the gazette, the examinations began on 29th April 2025 and concluded on 13th June 2025 for theory papers, while practical exams were completed by 30th July 2025. The much-awaited results were declared today, 18th September 2025, across Punjab including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Kasur districts.
This year, the Lahore Board witnessed a large participation of students, and the overall pass percentage stood at 60.86%, marking a significant academic milestone for thousands of candidates.

Girls dominated the group with an impressive performance compared to boys. Computer Science Practical and Physics Practical showed above 98% success rates.

This group saw the highest participation. Urdu, Islamic Studies, and Sociology showed strong results with above 90% pass rates, while English theory remained one of the lowest scoring subjects with 46.46% pass rate

Commerce students showed strong results in Accounting (90.94%) and Business Mathematics & Statistics (85.26%), proving to be one of the most stable groups academically.
According to the gazette, the grading was based on two schemes depending on whether a student was enrolled under the old course (1100 marks) or the new course (1200 marks):
A+ (Exceptional): 80% and above
A (Excellent): 70% to 79%
B (Very Good): 60% to 69%
C (Good): 50% to 59%
D (Fair): 40% to 49%
E (Satisfactory): Below 40%

Highest Pass Rates: Translation of the Holy Quran, Pakistan Studies, and Ethics (above 99%).
Lowest Pass Rates: English (46.46% in Humanities), Mathematics (58.97% in General Science for private candidates).
Practical Examinations: Almost all practical exams showed above 95% success rates, indicating strong laboratory performance by students
According to the Lahore Board:
Students who failed in one or more subjects can reappear in the Second Annual Examination 2025.
Candidates also have four opportunities within four years to improve marks in their respective subjects.
