Havelian: On Saturday, the secretary of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Abbottabad (BISE Abbottabad) Dr Shaista Irshad raided some schools in Tehsil Havelian which were still open in spite of being issued clear orders for closing because of the summer vacations.

Instantly, she ordered these schools to close as they were violating the schedule of summer vacations of BISE Abbottabad, and instructed them to close their schools according to the given schedule where primary schools will remain closed till August 30th and middle, high and secondary schools will remain closed August 15th, 2017.
She specified that the violators will be dealt along with the heavy fines of Rs 50,000/- to Rs 100,000/- and the authorities will also take a strict action against them.

In spite of scorching heat in some parts of Tehsil Havelian the private sector schools were not following the schedule of summer vacations which was highlighted by the parents and also by the media.
BISE Abbottabad took notice of this mater and started raiding these schools and punished them severely.
