Bahria University students get first position in LUMS contest

Islamabad, The Bahria University, Islamabad has got first place in the Supply Chain Competition held at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

In Synergies 2013, , a program for business and management competitions of LUMS held every year to appeal the teams of several universities, about 275 students from 25 universities took park in three stimulating events; PERSPICACIA (Business Case competition), GAUNTLET (Business Simulation game) and BEVERAGE GAME (Supply Chain Management simulation). Beverage Game was hosted for the first time this year.

Business Club teams of Bahria University took part in the event and got distinction in Business Game in 2012. This year the Supply Chain competition was organized by Dr. Arif Rana of LUMS. MBA students of Bahria University, Muhammad Arsalan (Team leader), Atif Illyas, Ali Hafeez, Muhammad Muzammil, Muhammad Nawaz and Huzaifa Niazi contributed in this competition.

In Beverage Game, more than ten teams contested students of Bahria University got this victory and labeled its name as the first ever winners of “Beverage Game” in Synergies. The winning team awarded with the prize of Rs30,000 along with a shield. The team leader, Muhammad Arsalan received the shield and said this victory has been made because of hard work and efforts of the team. 

Forman Christian College University FCC has got 2nd prize at the 155th Annual Spring Competition in Flower Exhibition and Campus Beautification which was organized at Bagh-e-Jinnah Lawrence Garden by The Horticultural Society of Pakistan.

FCC team got this distinction in the Gardens Competition in the class gardens which are sited in the educational institutions. The college also got second position in the Potted Plants. Every year the competition is arranged. Currently it was mutually conducted by the Horticultural Society of Pakistan and the Parks and Horticulture Authority, Lahore.

FFC aims to create and disseminate knowledge and to develop informed, ethical and responsible citizens, who are prepared to learn, lead and serve, who live by the college motto “By Love Serve One Another”. The Vision of the college is to be recognized as one of the very best colleges in the entire subcontinent. This is in keeping with the distinguished reputation established during the first century in the life of the college.
