The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bahawalpur has officially declared the 9th Class Result 2025, along with the complete result gazette. According to the official statistics, the overall pass percentage of the Bahawalpur Board remained 43.08%, reflecting a tough competition among students this year.
The gazette issued by the board provides a comprehensive breakdown of student performance, including the list of passed and failed candidates, institution-wise results, and detailed marks of all registered students. Those wrote their annual examination are being able to access the gazette to get their results and also to look at the general progress patterns in Bahawalpur region.
Parents and education experts have expressed concern over the relatively low pass ratio compared to previous years, suggesting that students need more focus on foundational learning. On the other hand, toppers and high achievers have brought pride to their institutions by securing remarkable scores despite the challenging competition.
The Bahawalpur Board has made the result gazette available online for schools and candidates to download. Students are also advised to obtain an official copy of their mark sheets from their respective institutions.
With the announcement of the 9th class result, students will now prepare for their 10th class board examinations, which hold even greater significance in shaping their academic careers.
A) A total of 113,148 students submitted applications for admission.
B) Out of these, 27,111 candidates were either absent or had their roll numbers canceled.
C) The total number of students who appeared in the exam stood at 110,437, which included:

In the Secondary School Certificate Part-I First Annual Examination 2025, subject-wise performance revealed interesting trends. Advanced Islamic Studies (Elective) recorded a strong outcome where 8,893 students appeared and 8,025 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 90.24%. Arabic followed closely with 972 candidates out of which 865 were successful, giving an 88.99% pass percentage. On the other hand, Art and Model Drawing showed weaker results, as only 16 out of 34 students passed, translating into a 47.06% success rate.
In science subjects, Biology was attempted by 47,477 candidates, and 25,585 managed to qualify, making the pass rate 53.88%. Chemistry also displayed a moderate outcome with 9,254 students appearing and 5,286 passing, which is 57.14%. Civics showed a relatively low performance, with 600 candidates and only 287 passing (47.83%). Computer Science, however, fared better with 5,149 candidates and 3,579 passes, giving a pass percentage of 69.49%. Education had 416 students with 249 successful (59.86%), while Electrical Wiring displayed strong results with 1,188 candidates, of which 979 passed, giving 82.41%.
Elements of Home Economics stood out remarkably with almost perfect results—1,100 appeared and 1,097 passed, achieving 99.73%. English, however, proved to be one of the most challenging subjects, as out of 110,493 candidates, only 35,911 managed to pass, leaving the pass rate at a low 32.50%. Environmental Studies showed good results with 905 appearing and 780 passing (86.20%), while Ethics also had a high success rate of 81.27% as 833 out of 1,025 candidates cleared the exam. Food & Nutrition maintained solid performance with 62 candidates and 53 passes, giving an 85.48% pass rate.
General Mathematics attracted 12,121 candidates, of which 8,293 succeeded (68.42%). General Science had a pass rate of 65.19% with 2,178 appearing and 1,420 qualifying. Health & Physical Education showed encouraging outcomes with 276 students and 196 passing, resulting in 71.01%. History of Islam produced outstanding results, with 1,192 candidates and 1,097 passes, a success rate of 92.02%. Among compulsory subjects, Islamiyat (New Course) saw 110,437 candidates and 74,054 passes, recording 67.05%.
Mathematics, one of the most crucial subjects, had 90,574 students, of whom 39,311 passed, giving a pass percentage of 43.40%. Pakistan Studies showed a balanced performance with 110,482 candidates and 55,178 passes, marking 49.94%. Punjabi performed strongly with 83.76% as 98 out of 117 passed, and Sindhi Education also showed excellent results with 92.05% success (81 out of 88 students passed). Tarjuma-tul-Quran-ul-Majeed had 100,997 candidates and 67,234 passes, recording 66.56%.
Urdu (Compulsory) turned out to be the weakest subject in terms of pass rate, as only 32,012 out of 110,087 students cleared it, resulting in just 29.08%. In contrast, Woodwork (Furniture Making) almost matched perfection with 196 students appearing and 195 succeeding, leading to a 99.49% pass percentage.
Overall, the analysis shows that subjects like Elements of Home Economics and Woodwork achieved the highest success rates, while Urdu and English continued to remain the most difficult for students. Religious and language-based electives such as Islamic Studies, Arabic, Sindhi, and History of Islam showed consistently high pass percentages above 80%, indicating strong student performance in these areas.
