AJKU and HEC offering scholarship opportunities to needy students

Muzaffarabad, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad is offering scholarship opportunities to needy and poor but talented students. The step has been taken to assist the financially deprived students. The scholarships will include Tuition Fee,Books, Hostel dues, Transport and other Academic Cost.

Candidates are eligible who want to get admission in University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Muzaffarabad and admission forms can be submitted. Dully filed application forms along with the supporting documents mist be submitted till Dec 13, 2013 to the SFAO.
 
Interested candidates can download application form available at HEC (www.hec.gov.pk) and also at the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (www.ajku.edu.pk) or a hard copy of application form can also be taken from the Student Financial Aid Office, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Muzaffarabad during work hours. The University is unique in the sense that it is a multi-campus and multi-discipline university. It consists of the Main Campus, based at Muzaffarabad, and four faculties at other three campuses. The Main Campus is a spectral combination of Basic Sciences and Humanities. The science group includes Department of Botany, Chemistry, Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, and the Institute of Geology while Kashmir Institute of Economics and Departments of English, Law and Art and Design make up the Humanities group. Also located at Muzaffarabad is Kashmir Information Resource Center.
