In 1929 a college was established in Shahpur, and in 1946 the college was shifted in Sargodha and named as Government College Sargodha. In 2002 the college was upgraded into a university. This university was given name “University of Sargodha (UOS)”. Now the University of Sargodha (UOS) has gain great reputation and prestige due to quality of education.
The University of Sargodha Gujranwala Campus is an offspring of the highly accredited University of Sargodha, to provides wide ranging undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the students for fulfilling the need of the students of the concerned region. The campus is to offer higher education and contribute to the development of academic success of the students attending Gujranwala Campus. The facilities on the campus reflect a modern learning environment such as adequate and well equipped class rooms, libraries, computer rooms among others.
