The University of FATA, located in Kohat, has announced officially the Admissions for various undergraduate programs for Fall 2025, these programs include BS, BBA, and B.Ed. The university is a public-sector university located the tribal region, and strives to offer higher education to the underserved communities in Pakistan as a commitment to affordable education.The eligibility requirements to apply for the programs vary from program to program but generally students need to demonstrate 45% marks in FA/FSc or equivalent, although many disciplines require 50% marks in the entry test conducted by the university. The online admission portal will open from early July 2025 up to the end of August 2025 allowing students time to submit their applications.

The university has been established with an objective to impart higher quality and technical education to the Pakistani students without giving any consideration to religion, creed, cast, race, class, color and domicile. In compliance with the objectives of the FATA University Regulations 2013, due to its infancy and limited space some traditional and professional courses will be offered initially at the Government Degree College (Akhurwal) Darra Adem Khel in FR Kohat. However, with the development of our own campus at Akhurwal, Darra Adem Khel with an impressive infrastructure, I am determined to introduce more new and innovative courses with the support of dedicated and dynamic teachers. In order to provide the quality higher education facilities to the students of FATA at their door steps, the establishment of Sub-Campuses of the FATA University at Bajaur, Kuram and Waziristan agencies are also planned.
