Programs Offered

UMDC offers two main programs: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). The duration of the MBBS program is prescribed in order to equip the candidate with sufficient knowledge in the medical sciences for carrying out clinical work as a doctor. The BDS program concentrates mainly on dental learning since it provides theory as well as practical session to every learner to enable him or her to practice dentistry professionally. These two programs are affiliated with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and fulfill the criteria of University of Health Sciences, Lahore. These are formulated in a way that integrates knowledge with practice; allowing the students to be trained optimally.

Campus Infrastructure and Facilities

UMDC provides its students with adequate physical resources and up to standard amenities. Lecture theatres, large well-equipped laboratories, and a well stocked library with hard and electronic copies of books are among the facilities in the campus. Students also also get to enjoy and prefer course help from a well-developed Learning Management System (LMS). The college is associated with teaching hospitals where students get actual practice into clinical study. The campus also foster access to online medical databank and journals thus making it easier for the students to make research and get acquainted with enhanced medical needs.
