1. GED® (General Education Diploma)

Introduction of GED® (General Education Diploma)

1. The GED® test is recognized as a 12th grade equivalent or better by the U.S. Department of Education and is fully aligned with the Government's college and career readiness standards.
2. In addition, all state departments of education across the U.S. recognize the GED® credential as an equivalent to a high school diploma.
3. More than 97% of U .S. colleges and companies recognize and accept the GED® credential. International GED® graduates have recently been accepted into U.S. universities such as: University of Arizona, University of California, Rensselaer Polytechnic University, and many, many others; as well as universities in countries across the world.
4. GED® graduates are studying in universities across the world, and GED® graduates have included a former U .S. Surgeon General, state governors, astronauts, engineers and business leaders.
5. Nearly 21 million students have earned their GED®® credential to date, and on an annual basis between 300,000 and 700,000 candidates take the GED® test in the United States, U .S. territories and more than 85 other countries.
6. When international students pass the GED® test they receive an official transcript from GED Testing Service® and a high school equivalency certificate issued by the Washington D.C. Office of the State Superintendent.
7. GED Testing Service® is a joint venture between the American Council on Education ® (ACE) and Pearson. The new organization was formed in 2011.
8. It builds on its past experience in adult and continuing education by harnessing the considerable resources of Pearson, the world's leading education and testing company, with the 75-year
9. history of ACE, to expand access to the GED®® test, ensure its quality and integrity, and adapt the GED®® test to the skills needed in the 21stcentury.

GED® Test Has 4 Subjects:

GED® Test Outline:

1. Need to score 145 out of 200 to pass
2. 170 & Above considered as a good score
3. Often brings scholarship for the candidates.
4. Computer based exams

Who is Eligible for GED® Test?

1. Minimum age limit is 16 years
2. Has SSC/ equivalent Certificate
3. Has a minimum study gap after SSC / equivalent (missed out high school
4. To improve your existing A’ Levels /HSSC results/grades
5. Has completed 'O' Level / SSC and does not want to delay admissions to American, Canadian, UK, Foreign Universities and Universities in Pakistan.

After Passing GED® Test:

1. Candidates will be able to get admission in all degrees in Pakistan except Medical, Engineering and Natural Sciences.

*Our local certificates are not accepted in some countries for admission in graduation. GED® opens the doors for the students to get admission in Foreign Universities.
