UMT School of Social Sciences and Humanities SSH Lahore

Established in May 2005, the School of Education and Arts now known as School of Social Sciences and Humanities, was the successor to the Faculty of Educational Management and Technology (FEMT) that was setup earlier in 1999. The school offers doctoral, graduate and undergraduate degree programs aimed at preparing social scientists, professionals and educators for the uplift of society. The school actively collaborates with governmental and non-governmental organizations to meet national targets of research and development.

Programs Offered

At UMT, the School of Social Sciences and Humanities provides undergraduate, graduate and doctoral courses. For example, you can get a degree in Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, International Relations or Media Studies. The programs are developed so that students can understand social issues in detail and from various viewpoints, helping them enter diverse careers. Both theory and practice are important parts of the curriculum to prepare students to succeed in many fields linked to social sciences and humanities.
