There is no doubt that a number of educational institution & colleges are working throughout the city of Peshawar, however, the demand of more & more colleges institutions can not be over looked, keeping in view the growing population as well as the influx of the students from out side Peshawar, who are eager to get admitted here, as such, the visionary people associated with the education / teaching of the Lamps College have decided to provide the demanding students an opportunity where they educate themselves in a befitting manner at intermediate level. In order to meet out the growing demand and need of the hour, a college was introduced in the name of the LAMPS in May, 2014 in the hub of educational institutions near Arbab Niaz Cricket stadium. The concept behind choosing th name of the Lamps is to provide light in the shape of better education and help illuminate the minds.

Lamps College System is an educational system in Peshawar City which aims to offer educational opportunities to student of the area. Its main objectives are to provide quality education, personality development, and leadership training which has placed the college in a sobering position over the years. The College exists to ensure that the students attain a promising future by offering them both theoretical and practical knowledge.

The Lamps College System has provided programs for students at different levels, intermediate as well as undergraduate courses. They include science arts commerce and humanities and completely structured to meet the existing curriculum. The institution uses conventional methods of teaching and also incorporates updated sources of teaching enhances students’ education. The college focuses on student-centred learning activities, realistic thinking, and investigations to help students extend their education to the college level and sit for examinations.
