Academic Programs Offered

Technical Institute of Pakistan (TIP) is offering four undergraduate programs in textile sciences, fashion design and apparel manufacturing, and business studies. Programs of study include the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Textile Science, BS in Fashion Design Management and BS in Industrial Manufacturing and Management. The institute also offers a BS in Textile Business Management, which emphasizes the business side of the textile industry. These programs focus on teaching theoretical as well as practical skills required by industry. TIP partners with textiles companies to provide internships, research projects and hands-on training to make sure graduates are ready for jobs.

Campus Facilities and Activities

Technical Institute of Pakistan (TIP) is situated on the outskirts of Karachi away from the hustle of the inner city providing an environment conducive to learning. It has got equipped labs, design studios and textile production units to provide real-time experience to the students. It also has a library with extensive textile and fashion resources. These include student clubs and sports, as well as industry related events held on campus like fashion shows and exhibits. With a vision to enhance creative thinking and professionalism, the institute motivates students to participate in various national and international textile competitions.
