Soophia College of Arts and Science, Lahore is a project of Adabistan-e-Sophia Trust. Adabistan-e-Soophia Trust was established in 1946 by Miss Soophia Majeed and her sister Miss Fizza with the mission of providing educational opportunities to the Muslim children. The main focus of the trust was on the female education according to the culture of the Islam. The institute started first primary classes in 1946 and then upgraded to higher secondary level and in 1986 first batch of the students gave intermediate exams.

Programs Offered

SCAS has a wide range of academic programs at both the intermediate and the undergraduate levels. At the intermediate level, the students can opt for FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering, ICom and ICS. Some of the programs offered by the college to undergraduate students include: BS Computer Science, BBA etc. Such programs are meant to prepare the students with the requisite knowledge and skills to venture into their fields of choice. The curriculum of the college is periodically modernized to keep up with the changing job market needs. 

Facilities & Activities

SCAS has a variety of facilities that help in improving the learning experience of its students. The campus has state of the art computer labs and a fully stocked library giving students with all the materials required to achieve scholastic excellence. Besides academic work, the college encourages extra curriculum such as sports, music and drama, and hence a balanced development. Students also have a chance to participate in clubs and leadership programs and develop necessary skills and confidence in life.
