Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University Of Law Karachi

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law College was established vide Government of Sindh Notification No. S.GENL: 19-4/2008/4159 dated 31st Dec, 2011 by the Honourable Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah considering the needs of Education and Literacy in the remote areas of District Malir, East Karachi, District Thatta and District Badin.

The scheme was proposed by Mr. Riaz Hussain Lund Balouch, Central Additional General Secretary, People’s Lawyer’s Forum Pakistan. In response thereof, the Honourable Chief Minister passed order of physibility of the college vide letter No.SO(IMP)/CMS/K-III(17)/2008/119 dated 18th Nov, 2008. The state of art building was established by the then PPP Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Mohatarma Benazir Bhutto under Peoples Development Program, proposed by MNA Sher Muhammad Balouch. The college is located at Memon Goth Malir, Karachi.

The College is located near the heart of an education city. This education city is home of campuses of all the prestigious institutions around the country. The scenic beauty and peaceful environment surrounding the college adds to the glory of college. Seven entry points from different highways are available for reaching to the college. Twenty Four hours transport services are available and it put the college in scale of best accessible colleges.

In the field of imparting literacy the College is unrivaled for its state of the art equipment,s modern techniques of learning, well qualified faculty and conducive environment for intellectual growth of the students. The spacious and magnificent College Library is an important resource centre, primarily intended to provide undergraduate and postgraduate readers with the books they need for their studies, and having a valuable and ever increasing collection of legal works. The Library holds over 10,000 volumes, the core of which is a comprehensive range of legal materials for the practitioners and law students.
