Salim Habib University Karachi

The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF), a non-profit organization, aims to provide Quality Education with up-to-the-minute facilities to the students of Pakistan. To fulfill this objective, comprehensive educational institutes were established at Tobatek Sindh and Karachi where local and international competent educationists are appointed to provide present-day education to the Pakistani students. Currently, TSHEF has founded the Barrett Hodgson University, The Salim Habib Campus in Karachi and two Barrett Hodgson Colleges, Chaudary Wali Mohammed Campus in Toba Tek Singh which at present has enrolled more than 800 students.

History:

Dr. M S Habib, a philanthropist and well-known personality associated with Pharmaceutical Industry from Toba Tek Sindh, daringly confronted those educational challenges of the nation that conventional academic system even doesn’t realize. He initially identified the gaps in educational system and then put his sincere efforts to overcome the lacking.

His dream of the provision of up-to-date education in Pakistan got life by the establishment of The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF) in 2007.Within few years of consistent hard work, TSHEF gained unrivaled success and various fruitful educational ventures were carried out in Toba Tek Sindh. However, the real dream- come- true achievement of TSHEF was the foundation of Barrett Hodgson University, The Salim Habib Campus in Karachi in2015 with the mission to craft curiosity, creativity and confidence among the Pakistani youngsters.

Infrastructure:

The infrastructure enclosed in a multi-storey Campus in the Korangi Creek Area (Karachi) entails spacious lecture halls, laboratories, sports complex, libraries and other necessities. Every corner is constructed with a purpose –built concept providing contemporary and techno-oriented amenities. The Campus area provides adequate space for harmonious curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities .The architecture of the building as well as the surroundings reflect an atmosphere of voguish, open-planned, ventilated and green environs.
