Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC)

The Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) is one of the pioneer organization of Punjab, Pakistan offering vocational training and education. It was formed to solve the skills mismatch problem in the labour market, PVTC to equip persons with competencies that improve workplace productivity, start-ups, and marketable skills. The council runs a number of campuses throughout the province although not all of them are described here, one of which is the Kallar Syedan Kahuta Campus Edition that offers a wide range of vocational programs to the young people in the community.

To further its educational services, the Kallar Syedan Kahuta Campus of PVTC provides a wide array of vocational programs to cater skills trainings of the local employment sector. These courses range in diverse areas such as information technology, hospitality, health care and mechanical trade from certificate to university levels. Thus the curriculum has been well-designed and structured to incorporate real life experience and skill that will help prepare the students for the job market. It additionally has well-equipped and properly resourced learning environment with well-equipped workshops and computer facilities on campus. In this respect, by offering both the computer science and interpersonal skills, the campus equips the students with competencies as well as the confidence to perform their tasks.
