Pak-Swiss Training Centre (PSTC) in Karachi was one of the foremost technical institutes founded in 1965 with joint collaboration between Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR) and the Swiss government. The institute falls under the ministry of Science and Technology, but it has its own unique place in offering the best quality of technical education to students in terms of precision mechanics, instrumentation, and industrial training. Through Swiss methodology of training, PSTC ensures graduates meet international industry standards. Courses Offered

PSTC is conducting a set of programs aiming at equipping the students with the practical knowledge and technical competencies. Its prime program includes three year long diploma in associate engineering with major options in the disciplines of mechanical technology (dies & mold technology), mechanical technology (precision machining & instrumentation), and electronics electrical technology in the disciplines of instrumentation & process control. Short courses are available with PSTC in addition to its diploma program to be acquired by industry persons or students with supplementary technical competencies. Included in these short courses are Industrial Automation, AutoCAD, Advanced CNC, Advanced Electronics, and Die & Mould Design. The curriculum is designed to maintain theoretical background knowledge with plenty of hands-on training for successful engagement in modern industries.
