NWFP University of Agriculture, Peshawar was established in 1981 and was proven to be a center of excellence for advancing agricultural education and research at the national level in Pakistan. Firmly committed to an improvement in agricultural practices and rural development, the university plays a significant role in facing challenges against food security in the country.
