NUST School of Electrical Engineering

NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (NUST-SEECS), is the new name of NUST Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) which was launched on self-finance basis in April 1999 as a constituent college of NUST. The institute has achieved groundbreaking success and received enthusiastic response from the student community. The number of students registered with it figures at well over 500. NIIT' culmination into NUST-SEECS chronicles an enviable history leading to its prestigious stature in the phenomenally burgeoning world of IT.

It was in the wake of IT boom that gripped the country in 90's and its concomitant demand for quality in IT education that NUST took the highly opportune initiative of setting up its own IT department. By the grace of Almighty Allah, the institute originally called NIIT and recently renamed as NUST-SEECS has kept the NUST banner aloft by offering some unique academic programs and providing state-of-the art-facilities for carrying out research in cutting-edge technologies.
