NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer

The NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research (IEFR) Faisalabad is an esteemed center for higher learning that has its activities tailored towards graduating individuals with relevant skills in engineering and technology. The management of the National Fertilizer Corporation of Pakistan runs it, thus it also emphasizes the practical side of education through its linkage with both agriculture and industry. The institution sits on 25 acres and is favorably situated in an established part of Faisalabad which is easy for the students to reach. The target of the institute is to develop a modern teaching – learning environment that facilitates students in fostering their professional and intellectual development.

Academic Programs and Degrees Offered

NFC IEFR offers a wide array of undergraduate programs such as Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science. In addition, the institute also presents graduate such as BBA, and BS environmental science, and International relations. Most of the programs take four years to complete. The institute however strives to provide students with at both the theoretical and practical dimensions in the learning process. All the programs allow students to combine the traditional areas of engineering practice with new and rapidly growing areas such as Information Technology and Cybersecurity.

Student Life and Campus Facilities 

The campus of NFC IEFR is structured in such a way that it promotes both on-campus academic activities as well as out-of-class activities.
