Undergraduate and post graduate level recognized and approved degrees are offered by the various academic departments of the college. Specializations are offered in a number of fields. Whilst the departments of fine arts, design and architecture are the oldest departments that have set a long legacy of excellence in education. Many other departments such as Musicology, Film and Television, Multimedia Arts, Visual Art, Interior Design and Cultural Studies offer students diverse options in various areas of study.
A number of short courses and diplomas are also offered by this institution. PGD in Visual Arts and Multimedia Arts are offered by the NCA.
The undergraduate program consists of 4-year bachelors program in various fields. The NCA observes a semester system in compliance to the international standards of higher education. The graduate level programs include MA in Multi-media Arts, Visual Arts and Interior Designing .M.Phil. And Ph.D. level degrees are granted in the fields of Communication & Cultural Studies, Cultural Heritage and Conservation & Management.
