Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology Multan

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNS-UET) is located in Multan. It is a higher education institute which was established in 2012. Chief Minister of Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif took the initiative of the establishment of the university.

The existing campus of MNS UET is situated in the premises of Government College of Technology (GCT). The Government of Punjab purchased a piece of land for the construction of the university’s main new campus.

A piece of land of 249 acres has been purchased by the Government of Punjab for the construction of new main campus of MNS-UET in near future. This land is situated on the Bahawalpur Road near town Lar.

UET Lahore managed the activities of MNS- UET for the period from August 7, 2012 to December 27, 2016.

Vision And Mission

The aim of the institute is to provide quality professional education in the region of southern Punjab. The Institute aims to become leader in reaching the standard of excellence in engineering, sciences and technology.

The university has the mission to provide excellent education and research atmosphere to produce distinguished graduates having excellent professional competence, managerial skills, humanistic outlook, research, ethical morality, problem solving approach. The university also aims to develop the ability in the students to meet the challenge of socio-economic development for the purpose of the transformation of the society.

Currently the university is offering the bachelor’s programs for the above mentioned subjects. The admissions are given on the open merit system. The candidates have to take the entry test that is conducted by the UET Lahore. All the students wishing to get admission in the university must give this test because it is a compulsory admission requirement.

Admission

The applicants can get the admission forms for the university. The forms should be completed and submitted before the last date of submission. The students have to acquire at least 60 percent marks in FSc in order to take admission in the university.
