Curriculum and program offered

There are extra programs apart from the already mentioned LL.B that is the five year Bachelor of Laws and diploma programs in legal studies. Aimed at equipping students with comprehensive knowledge of law, the law curriculum features branches of law for instance; constitutional law, military law, law of war and the international law among others. Students are able to complete various topics assisted by competent and practicing legal professionals and academics where active learning methods are employed including lectures, case studies and practical work. Such a program guarantees that the student graduates ready for the world of legal practice.

Extracurricular Activities and Community Participation

While studying with their respective academic departments, students are also required to perform outside the classroom, thus engaging in the other dimensions of Islamia Law College such as sports and social work. The college encourages students to participate in moot court competitions, legal workshops, and seminars with eminent members of the legal fraternity, thus enriching their comprehension and expanding their exposure. Also, all the pupils are encouraged to take part in community activities, enforcing people’s legal rights and providing accessible justice opportunities. All these activities not only help in improving the knowledge obtained lessons but also develop citizen’s obligation among the students making them capable of returning to the society productively.
