Programs Fee Structure 

The fees at the IER also differ with the level and duration of the program. The undergraduate and postgraduate programs have a different payout scheme under the semester basis. Core tuition will be the same in each department, but other costs may be expected to some students in the form of practical work, accessing the lab, or thesis supervision especially in postgraduate courses. Departmental dues may also be a part of programs that address professional aspects of other programs, e.g. teachers training or education research programs. The breakdown of costs associated with the study of a particular academic path is encouraged to be read through the official prospectus of the academy or visited to the admissions office prior to enrollment date by members of the student body who is enrolled with the academy.

Scholarship & Financial Assistance

The students who study at IER do have numerous financial aid avenues available to them both at the college level and at the national level. They major in merit scholarships and need scholarships by the University of the Punjab, and assistance by outside agencies like the higher education commission (HEC), and the provincial education funds are also included. More help can be offered in the form of a government-based initiative and sportsmen or student scholarships. Although the institute does not award scholarships at the institute level at this point of time; students at IER are not deprived of any central university funding, and are eligible to receive such funds through the various university-level schemes so long as they fall in the defined academic and financial criteria.
